Who we are
The Southern California Intergroup of Sex Addicts Anonymous (SCISAA) operates https://scisaa.org and the SCISAA YouTube channel.

Your anonymity
Anonymity is a foundation of our program. We do not ask visitors to identify themselves, we do not sell or share personal information, and we never try to identify individuals from website or YouTube statistics.

Visit statistics
We count visits with Independent Analytics, a tool that runs on our own website. It does not use cookies and does not send visit data to Google or any other company. It shows us totals only: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (by city), what kind of device and browser they use, and which website sent them. We do not try to identify individual visitors.

Spam protection
We use CleanTalk, an anti-spam service, to keep spam bots off the site and to scramble the email addresses on our pages so spammers can’t collect them (tap an address to reveal it). To do this, your browser loads a small script from CleanTalk’s servers, which can see your IP address and browser type.

Bulletin sign-up
If you subscribe to our bulletin, the email address you enter (and a name, which is optional) is sent to Brevo, the service we use to send it. The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, not Google’s reCAPTCHA, to block spam bots. We use your address only to send SCISAA announcements, and we never sell or share it. Every bulletin has an unsubscribe link.

Our YouTube channel
SCISAA publishes daily meditation videos to its YouTube channel using an automated tool that uses the YouTube API Services. The tool accesses only SCISAA’s own YouTube account, to upload videos and manage our playlists. It does not access, collect, or store any data about viewers or their YouTube accounts. By watching our videos you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Links in our video descriptions may include tracking tags (such as “utm_source=youtube”) so we can count, in aggregate, how many visitors arrive from YouTube.

Cookies
This site does not use cookies to track visitors. Site administrators who log in receive standard WordPress login cookies.

Links and embedded content
Pages on this site may include embedded content (for example, videos or maps). Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies, and track your interaction, especially if you are logged in to that site. Links to Zoom, the ISO and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your choices
To stop receiving the bulletin, use the unsubscribe link in any issue. To have your address removed entirely, or for any other privacy question, email ch***@****aa.org.
